We have donated 2 pairs of tickets to win through this silent auction, with 100% of proceeds going to Candles.
The tickets are situated within the Seven Group box for pre match hospitality, food & drinks before enjoying the Ipswich v Birmingham game at Portman Road on the 6th April 2026.

About Candles
We are a group of parents based in and around Essex, Suffolk and Tendring who all have a child with Down syndrome. Our charity exists to support families like ours – families who are navigating a journey that can be both incredibly joyful and, at times, challenging.
Our group plays an important role in supporting the whole family. We understand that when a child has additional needs, it affects every member of the family. That is why we offer support and activities not only for our children with Down syndrome, but also for their siblings and parents. From inclusive activities for children to opportunities for parents to connect and occasional respite events, our aim is to create a supportive community where families feel understood, welcomed and never alone.
Everything we do is run entirely by volunteers. Our small committee is made up of parents who are living this experience themselves. Like all families, we balance work, home life and busy schedules, but we dedicate our time to helping ensure families in our community have somewhere to turn for support, friendship and opportunities for their children to thrive.
As a group, we work hard to create opportunities that may otherwise be difficult for our families to access. We organise a wide range of inclusive events and activities throughout the year that allow our children to socialise, build confidence, develop new skills and most importantly, have fun in an environment where they are fully accepted and celebrated.
Our events include toddler sensory classes, exclusive hire of cinemas, swimming pools and soft play centres, as well as a variety of sports groups tailored specifically for our children, including multisport, tennis and football. We also organise activities such as animal therapy sessions, outdoor gardening and forest school-style groups, and many more opportunities for children to learn, explore and have fun.
In addition, we provide heavily subsidised private speech and language therapy for a number of families, helping children access support that may otherwise be difficult or impossible to obtain.
Marathon Fundraising
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit this page and take part in the auction. These incredible prizes have been so kindly donated by Seven to help boost our fundraising efforts, and we are extremely grateful for their generosity.
We are absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to auction off these fantastic prizes – two lots of two seats in Seven’s amazing hospitality box this April. As massive Ipswich Town fans, this is incredibly exciting for us, but even more importantly, we are so grateful that this opportunity can help significantly support our fundraising efforts.
This charity means so much to our family and to so many others that we want to keep doing whatever we can to support it and help it continue the amazing work it does.
Last year we made a pact and decided that we wanted to take on a marathon together as mother and daughter, and running for Candles makes this challenge even more special and meaningful to us.
As Candles is completely voluntary, we can promise that every penny raised goes straight back into providing fun, inclusive and safe opportunities for the children, their siblings and their families.
Our training started in December and we recently completed the Great Bentley and Colchester Half Marathon and now have just over a month to keep on training really hard and building those miles up each week so that we can be for the 26.2 miles ahead of us on 19th April.
