IT Systems Analyst

Seven Group are looking to add an IT Systems Analyst to their team to support, maintain and grow our existing mixed platform multi-site environment. You will be working alongside internal stake holders, as well as existing and new external hardware and software application partners. The role encompasses all of Seven Group, delivering a high level of service to our Vehicle Asset Management, Refrigeration, Logistics and Property departments.

What We Need From You?
- Previous IT support experience ideal but not essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and build good relationships with stakeholders
- Time management skills and attention to detail
- Approachable, with a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Flexibility to adapt to the business requirements in a changing environment
- Full and clean driving licence is essential to travel to the other offices within Suffolk and Essex, both inside and outside of the standard office working hours
Technical Skills will ideally include some or all of the following
- Windows 10 / Mac iOS / Android OS
- Microsoft Office
- Microsoft 365 environments
- Windows Active Directory and server technology
- An understanding of Backups, Virtualisation and Business Continuity
- A knowledge of PC, Laptop and Printer maintenance and repair
- An appreciation of IT security technology including Firewalls, VPN’s, Multi Factor Authentication and End Point Protection
Responsibilities and Duties To Include:
Reporting to the Group IT Manager, the candidate would be responsible for or involved in
- Overseeing the IT support tickets and resolving issues, either remotely or face to face. Together with escalating tickets to other members of the IT team if required, or liaising with 3rd Party partners through to resolution.
- Setup and installation of a range of both new and re-deployed IT equipment
- Software installations and upgrades
- Deployment of end point protection to multiple clients
- Checking overnight backups and other automated processes
- Maintaining existing, and creating new user and email accounts
- Overseeing stock and fixed asset documentation
- Provide an out of hours service on a rota basis on completion of your probation
- Any other duties as required
