Seven Property is seeking to appoint a Building Maintenance Team Leader to join our busy maintenance team.

Main Purpose of Job:

To effectively work on own initiative directing a team, rectifying faults and carrying out repairs. Possessing a competence in a range of trades to enable a wide range of duties, connected with repair, maintenance and renewal of our Residential and Commercial Property Portfolio.

 

Skills & Personal Attributes Required:

  • Full clean driving licence
  • Ideally already have a number of years of relevant site related experience or an NVQ Level 2 Building Maintenance, Multi-trade Repair and Refurbishment Operations or similar qualification
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written with tenants and customers
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Office Software

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Multi skilled in carrying out instructions given by the Senior Management team, working to a high standard ensuring quality workmanship and maintaining a high level of productivity
  • Refurbishments including Kitchen, bathroom fitting, tiling, painting, fencing, floor fitting and general maintenance
  •  Driving revenue through customer database & network, preparing quotations to ensure continuing workflow
  • Responsible for maintaining H&S ensuring adherence to safe working practice and environmental procedures by all employees

  • Planning and organising daily work and managing materials required, driving vehicles and operating equipment required for the task

  • Keeping vehicles and equipment clean and in working order, reporting any defects and instructing staff to do the same
